THE KEY POINTS IN SIMPLE WORDS

This summary is only to help you. The full Agreement below is what binds you and us.

  • We are a technology platform. We are not a marriage bureau, broker or matchmaker.
  • No guarantee. We do not promise any match, response or marriage. A paid plan buys access to features, not a result.
  • We do not verify Members. Profiles are created by Members. Please check every person yourself, with your family.
  • Never send money, gifts or financial details to anyone you meet here. We will never ask you to. Dowry demands are not allowed.
  • Be honest. Fake profiles and false information, especially about marital status, can have serious legal consequences.
  • Age. Women must be 18 or above and men 21 or above, and legally free to marry.
  • Your privacy. You can see, correct or delete your data and withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Complaints. Write to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days.
  • Your consumer rights under Indian law are not taken away by this Agreement.

3.3 The Company observes the due diligence requirements of the IT Act and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 (the IT Rules). This Agreement, the Privacy Policy and the Safety Guidelines together form the rules and regulations, privacy policy and user agreement published under the IT Rules.

  • communication;
  • meetings;
  • engagement;
  • marriage;
  • financial arrangements;
  • relocation;
  • immigration;
  • family discussions.

10.3 The Company is not a party to any such decision.

PART B – ELIGIBILITY, REGISTRATION AND MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
12. Eligibility

12.1 To use the Platform as a Member, you must:

  • (a)be a natural person (an individual, and not a company, firm, agency or other entity);
  • (b)be at least eighteen (18) years old if you are a woman, and at least twenty-one (21) years old if you are a man (or such higher age as Applicable Law prescribes for you), and in all cases be legally competent to contract;
  • (c)be legally free to marry under the law applicable to you (for example, unmarried, divorced by a final decree, or widowed);
  • (d)not be barred by any court, tribunal or authority from marrying or from using the Platform;
  • (e)use the Platform only for lawful matrimonial purposes; and
  • (f)provide truthful information.

12.2 The Platform is intended exclusively for adults. The Company does not knowingly permit anyone below the minimum age to use it. An account found to belong to a person below the minimum age will be removed and its Personal Data deleted, subject to any retention required by law.

12.3 The Company may ask for proof of age or eligibility at any time and may suspend an account until proof is provided.

12.4 Membership is void where prohibited by law.

13. Profile Creation

13.1 A Profile may be created:

  • by the individual seeking a matrimonial alliance; or
  • by a parent, guardian, sibling, relative or authorised representative, acting with the knowledge and consent of that individual.

13.2 A person who creates a Profile for another person confirms that the other person is an eligible adult who has agreed to the Profile and to this Agreement, and that all details are accurate.

13.3 The person for whom a Profile is created is bound by this Agreement and by the Profile. The person who created it is also responsible for it. A Member cannot avoid responsibility for a false Profile by saying that someone else created it.

13.4 The Company may ask for proof of consent at any time and may remove a Profile if it is not provided.

14. One Person – One Profile

14.1 A Member may maintain only one active Profile unless the Company expressly permits more.

14.2 Duplicate, misleading or suspicious Profiles may be removed. Fees paid for a duplicate Profile are not refundable.

15. Accuracy of Information

15.1 Members shall ensure that information submitted to the Platform is:

  • true;
  • accurate;
  • current;
  • complete;
  • not misleading.

15.2 Members shall promptly update inaccurate or outdated information.

16. Material Information

16.1 Members shall not intentionally conceal or misrepresent information that may reasonably influence a matrimonial decision, including:

  • marital status, including whether a divorce is pending or complete;
  • children;
  • identity and age;
  • any court order or pending proceeding that restricts or affects the ability to marry;
  • other legal restrictions affecting marriage.

16.2 Members understand that a false statement about such matters can have serious legal consequences for them, including civil remedies and criminal complaints, which are matters between the Members concerned and the authorities.

17. No Verification by the Company

17.1 Unless expressly stated otherwise, the Company does not verify:

  • identity;
  • age;
  • marital status;
  • education;
  • employment;
  • income;
  • family background;
  • health condition;
  • criminal history;
  • character;
  • intentions.

17.2 The Platform relies substantially on information provided by Members. Members remain solely responsible for their own verification and due diligence.

17.3 Verification of a mobile number or email address by OTP or link shows only that the Member can access that number or address. It does not confirm identity or the accuracy of any Profile.

17.4Optional checks. The Company may, at its discretion, carry out verification, screening or fraud-prevention checks in selected cases or as a feature, but has no obligation to do so for any or all Profiles. Carrying out a check in one case does not create a duty to do so in any other case, and is not an assurance of identity, genuineness, character or intentions.

17.5Verification indicators. If the Company ever displays a badge, tick or label, it will state what was checked. The indicator means only that and nothing more. Members must still do their own verification.

The Company does not verify Members. Check every person yourself, with your family, before you share personal information, meet, or make any decision.

18. Profile Photographs

18.1 Photographs uploaded to the Platform must:

  • belong to the Member;
  • be recent and accurately represent the Member;

  • content uploaded;
  • representations made;
  • communications sent;
  • decisions taken.
21. Confidentiality of Member Information

21.1 Information obtained from another Member through the Platform is confidential and may be used only for the purpose of considering a matrimonial alliance with that Member.

21.2 Members shall not disclose, publish, distribute, transfer, sell, share, reproduce or exploit personal information obtained through the Platform without the consent of the person concerned.

21.3 This obligation survives termination of membership.

22. Permitted Use

22.1 The Platform may be used solely for genuine matrimonial purposes.

  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • try to avoid a suspension or removal by creating a new account;
  • misuse the Platform in any other way.

23.2 Posting a telephone number, residential address, personal email address, external web link or social media handle in the public part of a Profile is not allowed. Use the Platform’s contact tools.

24. Money, Gifts, Financial Requests and Dowry

24.1 Members shall not ask for, offer, accept or transfer money, loans, “emergency” help, investments, cryptocurrency, gifts, gift cards, jewellery, travel, visa, medical, legal, customs or parcel charges, or any other financial benefit, to or from any Member they have met through the Platform.

24.2 Members shall not ask for or share bank, UPI, card or wallet details, passwords or OTPs.

24.3 The Company never asks any Member for money on behalf of another Member. The only money the Company asks for is the fee for a Membership Plan, payable on the Platform’s own payment pages.

24.4 Dowry, and any demand or offer of dowry, is prohibited by the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Members shall not demand, offer or discuss dowry in any form.

24.5 A Member who receives a request of this kind must stop communicating about it and report it at once under clause 67.

24.6 The Company may suspend or terminate any account that breaches this clause, may warn other Members who dealt with it, and may report it to the authorities.

Never send money, gifts or financial details to anyone you meet on the Platform, however good the reason sounds. The Company cannot recover money sent to another Member.

24.7 The Company is not responsible for any financial transaction between Members.

27. Member Interactions

27.1 All communications, meetings, discussions and relationships occur solely between Members.

27.2 The Company does not supervise, direct, endorse or guarantee such interactions.

28. Assumption of Risk and Personal Safety

28.1 Members acknowledge that interactions with other Members involve personal judgment and risk, and accept responsibility for their own decisions and interactions, online and offline.

28.2 Members should follow the Safety Guidelines in Annexure A, including the following:

  • involve your family or a trusted person;
  • meet first in a public place and tell someone where you are going;
  • do not share financial details or identity documents;
  • be careful if someone quickly asks to move to WhatsApp or another app, or pushes for money or secrecy;
  • verify what you are told before you rely on it.

28.3 The Safety Guidelines are general suggestions. They are not exhaustive, and they do not make the Company responsible for any Member’s safety.

29.1 The Company is not responsible for Off-Platform Information voluntarily shared by Members, including contact numbers, email addresses, social media details, photographs, financial information and personal documents.

29.2 The Company cannot see, monitor or control communications that take place outside the Platform, including on WhatsApp, calls, social media, email or in person.

32. No Guarantee of Results

32.1 The Company does not guarantee:

  • profile views;
  • responses;
  • proposals;
  • introductions;
  • meetings;
  • relationships;
  • engagement;
  • marriage.

  • free memberships;
  • paid memberships;
  • premium memberships;
  • subscription plans;
  • promotional memberships;

  • meetings;
  • engagement;
  • marriage;
  • compatibility;
  • matrimonial success.

34.4 The Company does not undertake to secure, procure, arrange or ensure any matrimonial outcome.

35. Our Commitment to Deliver Plan Features

35.1 The Company will make available the Plan Features of every paid Membership Plan, as described at the time of purchase, for the paid period.

35.2 If a Member believes that a Plan Feature has not been delivered, the Member should tell the Grievance Officer within [30] days of becoming aware of it, giving details.

35.3 The Company will investigate and, within [7] working days, either restore the feature, extend the plan period by the time lost, or refund the fee for the undelivered portion under clause 40.

35.4 This clause does not limit any right the Member has under Applicable Law.

36. Pricing and Taxes

36.1 Membership fees, charges, taxes (including GST) and statutory levies are displayed before payment. A tax invoice is sent on purchase.

39.2 No Membership Plan renews automatically. A recurring payment is set up only if the Member separately and expressly chooses it, through a process that follows the rules of the Reserve Bank of India, and the Member can cancel it at any time.

40. Refund and Cancellation Policy

40.1 Refunds are decided by whether the purchased Plan Features were delivered, and not by the Member’s matrimonial outcome.

  • breach of contract;
  • grounds for refund;
  • grounds for compensation;
  • grounds for damages.

41.3 This clause does not apply where the Company has failed to provide a Plan Feature as described, or has acted in breach of Applicable Law. In those cases the Member’s remedies are those in clauses 35 and 40 and under Applicable Law.

  • any minimum number of proposals;
  • any minimum number of responses;
  • any minimum number of profile views;
  • any minimum number of introductions;
  • any minimum level of engagement.

44.2 No advertisement, promotional communication, social media content, customer support communication or marketing material creates any guarantee beyond the Plan Features expressly described in the purchased Membership Plan.

44.3 The Company does not authorise any person to promise a match, a marriage or a timeline. Members should rely only on the Plan Features. Members who see any such statement should report it to the Grievance Officer.

45. Cancellation by Member

45.1 Members may discontinue use of the Platform or close their account at any time through account settings or by writing to the Company.

45.2 Cancellation does not automatically entitle a Member to a refund. Refunds are governed by clause 40.

  • this Agreement has been violated;
  • fraudulent activity exists;
  • misuse of the Platform has occurred;

46.3 A Member whose account is suspended or terminated may ask the Grievance Officer to review the decision, and the Company will respond within [15] days.

46.4 If the Company ends a paid membership without any breach by the Member, clause 40 applies.

47. Service Availability

47.1 The Platform is provided on an “as available” basis.

47.2 The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure or error-free operation of the Platform, and may carry out maintenance from time to time.

48.2 By registering and using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your Personal Data for the purposes in this Part D and the Privacy Policy. You give this consent separately from your acceptance of this Agreement, through a separate acceptance box.

48.3 Some Personal Data you give (for example religion, community, income, health-related details, photographs) is sensitive. You provide it voluntarily, and only if you choose to. It is shown only as you choose in your Profile settings and as the Platform’s functions require.
